CALIFORNIA OSHA GOLDEN GATE PARTNERSHIP
RECONGNITION AWARD FOR

SAFETY EXCELLENCE

Over our 62 year history in the construction profession, safety has always been a forefront concern and the Pacific Ethanol Facility in Madera County demanded an extensive effort to educate and manage a huge labor force with the complexities of process plant construction.  Cal/OSHA complemented us on our on-going safety efforts and invited our Team to compete for the prestigious Golden Gate Partnership Recognition Award for Safety Excellence.  Our safety staff remained vigilant and earned the greatest of all goals in construction safety with over 225,000 man-hours applied to the project with no WML or Subcontract employees suffering a loss time incident.  This is a testament to the team’s effort and the commitment to develop a culture of safety on an extremely complicated project. Two months before the end of the project, Cal/OSHA announced WML as the winner of the coveted Golden Gate Partnership Recognition Award for the Madera Ethanol Plant.
